Fiction Writing Tips & Tricks
From the Desk of Esther Mitchell
One of the things I'm most often asked, as both an author and editor, is how an aspiring author can make their work better.
Aside from the obvious old rag ("practice!"), over the years, I've begun compiling articles of my own personal tips, tricks, and pet peeves or projects, when it comes to the basic structure and fundamentals of creating a solid, memorable work of fiction. And I decided my website would be the best place to share them with you.
Please keep in mind, not everyone will find these easy to use, or effective for them. If they don't all work for you, don't get discouraged. Just keep writing, and editing what you write, and you may discover your own formula.
Happy writing!
